Maryville Seeks Public Input on Community Priorities for Updated Comprehensive Plan

The City of Maryville is asking residents to help shape the community’s future through its ongoing Comprehensive Planning Process.

The city has released its latest survey on its planning website, focusing this month on “Community Priorities.” Officials said public input is essential to ensure that future growth reflects the needs and priorities of residents.

Maryville last updated its Comprehensive Plan in 2012. The plan guides the city’s growth, investment, and development over the next two decades, addressing areas such as housing, transportation, parks and open spaces, economic development, and community health.

Residents can visit maryville2045.com to complete the survey and place virtual pins on an interactive map, highlighting areas where they see issues or suggesting improvements.

City officials emphasized that community involvement is key to creating a plan that benefits all residents.
