Downtown Maryville will be celebrating the arrival of fall with the annual "Fall Into Fun" festival Sunday, Sept. 28.

The event brings a full day of food, games, and live performances to the city's downtown. Musical acts include Mackenzie Honeycutt and the duo Damon Nally and Eli Drennon.
Downtown Maryville Executive Director DeAnn Davison says this year’s Fall into Fun is the biggest yet.

"We have over 80 vendors signed up to participate. We also have our pumpkin growing contest, and we'll announce our winners on 4 p.m. on Sunday; there's music and a lively festival atmosphere," she said.

Davison says the community has already embraced the day, and it’s quickly grown into a tradition.

“Last year's attendance was over 2000 so when you think of the events that come to our Downtown you think of Northwest's Homecoming Parade, the Nodaway County Fair...so to see this event grow in our Downtown is really exciting” Davison said.

‘Fall into Fun’ began in 2023 as an outgrowth of the Downtown.

“We were having such a great time and seeing success, so we came up the idea with to have 'Fall into Fun' to celebrate all the vendors and all the vibrancy they added to the community,” Davison says.

The festival is free and open to the public. Find more information at downtownmaryvillemo.com.
