As summer comes to a close, students are migrating back to their home, away from home. Home being Northwest Missouri State University. As freshmen begin their next stage of life and returning students begin to further their educational pursuit, I went out onto the campus of Northwest to see what everyone is excited about for this semester of college.

What is one thing you're excited for this semester?

"This semester, I'm excited to get back in the groove of things. I'm excited to see everyone again and go to all the sports events."

"I'm excited for KNWT and getting into it."

"Yeah, I'm excited to see people again and just be involved in TV stuff again."

"I mean, everyone's killer smiles."

"I'd say I'm pretty excited for this new semester. A lot of new things, new construction around Northwest, just makes the campus looks prettier when it's done. A lot of new people coming in. A lot more opportunities, pretty exciting."

"Definitely grocery bingo. Grocery bingo is fun."

"I'd say, honestly, some of my classes. And also just once again, just getting to see people here."

On top of it being the first semester for some, others are glad to be near the end.

"As a senior, I'm really just excited to kind of get through the year and graduate because I'm gonna start working at a tax firm. I already have a job lined up and I'm excited to start it.:

Tru Billharz, a senior, has advice for those new to Northwest, "Don't be too scared to join in on a club that you might be interested in, because that's always gonna be where you're gonna find those friends in, you know, your new BFF."

Needless to say, this will be an exciting semester here at Northwest.
