The race is ON to get registered for a local marathon.
The Wabash Trace Nature Trail is holding its 14th annual marathon, half marathon, and relay races on Saturday, September 13th, and the registration is coming up next Wednesday the 10th. The Wabash is an official qualifier for the Boston Marathon, and offers one of the flattest courses of any Boston qualifier event.
The Marathon and Relay start in Shenandoah at 7:30 a.m. The Half Marathon begins in Imogene at 8:00 a.m. near the St. Patrick Church.
The course runs on a crushed limestone surface, shaded by the canopy of trees. Spectators are welcome to come out and support runners at the finish line. Register online at WWW.GETMEREGISTERED.com, or visit the event's Facebook page for details.
