Clarinda’s annual Lighted Christmas Parade will bring holiday cheer to historic downtown with festive floats, dazzling lights, and the theme “Hometown Holiday Glow.”

A community tradition since 1993, the parade honors the area fire departments that helped battle the 1991 Page County Courthouse fire, with fire trucks receiving a place of honor.

The event is co-sponsored by the Clarinda Chamber of Commerce and Clarinda Kiwanis Club.

Following the parade, children are invited to visit Santa Claus at the Santa House on the Page County Courthouse lawn.
