Kehoe's order has five minimum standards until the legislature establishes state laws.
They are permanently deleting most license plate and vehicle data within 30 days, limiting the cameras to legitimate criminal justice and livesaving purposes, prohibiting the integration of A-I facial recognition technology with camera systems, requiring accountability measures to prevent and penalize misuse, and prohibiting the data generated in Missouri from being sold, shared, or commercialized.
