City manager Ryan Heiland said after waterline repairs last week, the 400 block of North Main will be closed Friday (August 14) to do concrete patching. That block will remain closed through Saturday after the end of the first farmers market at the downtown Maryville pavilion.
Heiland said concrete work at South Main and Halsey would close the 500 block of South Main through the end of business on Friday.
And phase two of the South Main reconstruction has involved the contractor completing what Heiland described as "grading and concrete deficiencies" that were discovered during a final inspection. Heiland also said additional landscaping will be done this fall during better weather conditions.
