On Sept. 8, the City of St. Joseph informed the public of a data breach that occurred in June, potentially exposing sensitive information on city residents. The statement said impacted residents will be contacted with a letter about the breach. At requests for an interview, St. Joseph officials have declined to speak further on the issue.
