Northwest Missouri State University will be paying tribute to lives lost during the events of September 11, 2001 with the annual stair climb.
The event will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bearcat Stadium and is open to the public.
The stair climb involves participating in a two thousand seventy one step challenge, the equivalent of the Trade Center's 110 stories. The climb honors the lives of first responders who died at the World Trade Center on 9/11, or passed due to injuries sustained during the response.
