Northwest Missouri State football fell to second-ranked Pittsburg State Saturday afternoon at Bearcat Stadium 28-7.
The Gorillas scored 21 second-quarter points to take control of the game.
The Bearcats were held to a season-low 290 yards of total offense and didn't score a touchdown until late in the 4th quarter.
The Bearcats drop to 4-4 overall and 3-4 in MIAA play.
They travel to Topeka, Kansas Saturday for a one o'clock kick off with Washburn.
