The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat men's basketball team bounced back from a loss Saturday with an impressive 71-56 victory over Central Oklahoma last night at Bearcat Arena.

The Bearcats led almost the entire game and built a two point lead at halftime to be up by as much as 15 in the second half. Bearcat head coach Ben McCollum said he liked his teams effort last night.

The Bearcats played the game without Byron Alexander and Jack Ratigan. Mitch Mascari led Northwest with 19 points and Wes Dreamer, whose 14 points all came in the second half.

Northwest ups their record to 12-4 overall and 8-2 in the MIAA and still stand atop the conference standings.

The Bearcats play Newman Saturday at 3:30 in Bearcat Arena.
