Maryville High School girls basketball continues to grind through a difficult non-conference schedule after a 57-44 loss to Van Buren (AR) Wednesday night. The Spoofhounds trailed in the first half, but used an 8-0 run to tie it up. Then climbed back in the game in the third quarter after getting down by double-digits, but couldn't complete the comeback.

Spoofhound head coach Kelly Obley spoke with us after the game about the fight she's seeing in her team through the first half of the season, the willingness of the Maryville players to ratchet up the intensity on defense, and the opportunity to play in the Hoops for Hope classic Thursday evening.
