Northwest Missouri State shot a season-high 52.4-percent from three-point range en route to a runaway 76-54 win over Central Missouri.

The Bearcats (14-4, 10-2 MIAA) opened the game on a 26-4 run and led 34-18 at the break. For the game, Northwest shot 11-21 from deep. The attack was spearheaded by Bennett Stirtz and Mitch Mascari, each hitting four of five opportunities from beyond the arc.

Stirtz led all scorers with 22 points. He also passed out four assists.

Mascari and Wes Dreamer finished with 14 points apiece, and Isaiah Jackson put up 11 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

The Bearcats travel to Jefferson City Saturday to face Lincoln. Game time is set for 3pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 2:30pm.
