The Bearcat women improved their record to 20-5 and 14-5 in the conference with a 72-54 win over Northeastern State.

The victory marks the first time since the 2010-11 season the Northwest women have reached 20 wins and the ninth time in program history.

Bearcat head women's basketball coach Austin Meyer says it's an important milestone for his program.  "I think it's only happened two other times since the early 90s."  "It's definitely something everybody should proud of."

Jayna Green finished the game with her third career double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds.

The Bearcats are back home Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. against Missouri Western.
