Northwest Missouri State outlasted Fort Hays State Saturday afternoon in a 64-61 double overtime win inside Bearcat Arena.

The Bearcats (17-4, 13-2 MIAA) didn't take the lead for good until a Wes Dreamer bucket with 48 seconds remaining in the second overtime.

The Tigers' Kaleb Hammeke hit a shot with 50 seconds left in regulation to send the game to an extra period tied 51-51. Fort Hays then jumped out to a 55-51 lead in overtime. Northwest battled back to tie it, but were trailing again in the final minute.

Down by three, Isaiah Jackson drove and made a layup while getting fouled with 7.9 seconds on the clock. Jackson hit the free throw to send the game into a second overtime.

Fort Hays put up a three-pointer as time expired but it was no good.

Dreamer put up a game-high 20 points.

Jackson finished with a double-double scoring 10 points and pulling down 12 rebounds.
