Northwest Missouri State withstood a furious comeback from Lincoln and held on for a 62-52 win Saturday afternoon.

The Bearcats (15-4, 9-4 MIAA) saw their 16 point lead cut evaporating after halftime. The Blue Tigers hit their first seven shots of the second half and outscored the Bearcats 25-14 in the third quarter. The Northwest advantage sat at just 48-44 when Caely Kesten hit a three-pointer to swing momentum back the other way. Kesten's bucket sparked a 10-0 run. Lincoln never got closer than nine points the rest of the game.

Lindsey Kelderman scored a season-high 17 points and hit on three of seven three-point attempts.

Kesten chipped in with 15 points.

The Bearcats return home Thursday to face Nebraska Kearney. Game time is 5:30pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 5pm.
