Northwest Missouri State women's basketball earned its sixth straight win Saturday dispatching Rogers State 67-59.

The Bearcats (6-1, 2-0 MIAA) were locked in a low-scoring game that saw them trailing the Hillcats 11-6 at the end of the first quarter.

After starting 0-5 from three-point range, the 'Cats locked-in offensively in the second quarter shooting 46-percent from the field and hitting all three three-point attempts to knot the game at 23 apiece heading into halftime.

Molly Hartnett hit a three-pointer just 32 seconds into the second half to put the Bearcats on top. Northwest wouldn't let that lead go the rest of the way, even growing the advantage to 12 points midway through the fourth quarter.

Molly Hartnett led all scorers with 15 points.

Evelyn Vazquez followed with 12 points and three assists. Mallory McConkey finished with 10 points and six rebounds.

Northwest goes on the road for the first time in MIAA play Saturday to face Lincoln University. Tip-off is set for 1:30pm. Pregame on KXCV 90.5 and KRNW 88.9 begins at 1pm.
