Justin Pitts and Chris-Ebou Ndow powered Northwest Missouri State to a dominant 94-60 victory over Missouri Western on Saturday afternoon in Maryville.

The seniors sparked the Bearcats (17-2, 9-2 MIAA) as their performance set a new single-game shooting record for the program. Northwest hit 68.8-percent of its field goal attempts. That shattered the previous mark of 67.9-percent shooting against Lindenwood last February. The offensive surge came thanks to a great second half where the team hit 20 of 25 attempts, and 10 of 13 three-point shots.

Pitts, in his first game back since suffering from concussion-like symptoms after a game against Nebraska Kearney on January 18, paced the 'Cats with 27 points on 9-11 shooting. He also added four assists, three steals, two rebounds and no turnovers.

Ndow eclipsed 1,000 career points in the win. He finished with 22 points, eight rebounds and three assists. He's also just the 12th player in program history to score 1,000 points and pull down 500 rebounds in a career.

The Bearcats will be home again Thursday against Lincoln University at 7:30pm. Pregame on KXCV-KRNW will begin at 7:10pm.
