Northwest didn't disappoint in its first MIAA home game in nearly a month and a half as the Bearcats rolled over Southwest Baptist 78-46 on Saturday afternoon.

The Bearcats (14-1, 6-1 MIAA) shot 50-percent from the field in the first half on their way to a 40-21 lead over SBU at halftime.

Xavier Kurth scored a career-high 18 points on the way to his most complete game of the season. Kurth shot 6-7 from the field, pulled in four rebounds, two steals and dished three assists.

Northwest also received 13 points from Chris-Ebou Ndow and 12 from Joey Witthus.

Justin Pitts finished with the lowest point total of his career at just two on 1-9 shooting, but he did reach double-digit assists for the third time in his career as he finished with 10 dimes.
