This month's All Things Northwest hosted by Northwest Missouri State University President Dr. John Jasinski highlights the strides being made toward mental health at the University, and the amazing story of a woman's journey from graduating from West Point to taking her vows to become a nun in Clyde, MO.

In segment one, Sister Nancy Rose Gucwa of the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration joins the show to discuss her background in New York, becoming a member of the first class at West Point that accepted women, and eventually being led to the monastery in Clyde.

Segment two of All Things Northwest features Kristen Peltz, the Northwest assistant director of Wellness Services: Counseling, and B.K. Taylor, the Northwest assistant director of Wellness Services: Prevention, Outreach & Education. Peltz and Taylor discuss wellness, resilience, PERMA, suicide prevention and a recent grant the University received.
