Former Bearcat Mascari to play in NBA Summer League

Former Northwest Missouri State men's basketball player Mitch Mascari isn't done on the hardwood just yet. Mascari will play for the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Summer League.

The 6-foot-5 guard was a national champion at Northwest and a sharp-shooter in green and white hitting 44% of his three-point attempts in four seasons. Mascari played one year at Drake where he knocked down 87 triples and eclipsed 1,000 points for his career.

The Suns begin play in the NBA Summer League on July 11.
