MDC Deer Hunts Across the State

The Missouri Department of Conservation is reminding deer hunters to apply for a chance at one of 145 managed deer hunts across the state.

The applicaiton window runs through the month of July and the managed hunts take place from mid September to mid January. They are located at designated conservation areas, state parks, national wildlife refugees, and other public areas. A managed hunt helps agencies manage wildlife populations and target their harvest to specific locations.

The hunts are available for archery, muzzleloader, and shotgun, with some hunts being tailored for youth, beginning hunters or individuals with disabilities.
Hunters will be selected at random with drawing results available starting August 15th.
