Nodaway County Historical Society offers a free workshop to dig into family histories

Tina Brown and NCHS teams up to offer  a genealogy workshop to dig into your roots

The Nodaway County Historical Society is offering a free workshop on Saturday the 14th to help folks dig into their family histories. The Society's Building on Walnut Street will be open starting at 9 AM for its monthly 'Second Saturday Coffee.' There will be refreshments on hand. Then, starting at 11 AM, Geneologist and Historian Tina Brown will lead a workshop titled "Starting your Family History." Brown, who is based locally, works with individuals to trace their roots and discover their family trees. Her workshop will provide attendees with the tools for looking into their family's past.
