The Second Harvest Community Food Bank has a full schedule coming up in July.
The pantry serves the enitre northwest Missouri region, and northeastern Kansas. One of its signautre programs is a mobile food bank offering pop-ups in cities and towns all over.
You can catch them next week in Grant City on Monday; Maryville on Tuesday; Trenton on Wednesday; and St Joseph on Thursday. Chillcothe, Albany, and Atchison, Kansas will all get stops later in the month. You can find details about location and hours for each pop-up at SHCFB.org, and on their Facebook page.
There is no income limit to receive food from the pantry; the organization DOES take down user information to better understand community need. Those records are kept anonymsouly. You can also support the organization with donations and volunteer time. The mobile pantry program tends to see high demand across the region.
