Missouri deer hunters can apply online in July for a shot at 145 managed deer hunts throughout the state.

The hunts include archery, muzzleloader, shotgun, and modern firearms and fun from mid-September through mid-January at designated conservation areas, state and other parks, national wildlife refuges, and other public areas.

Applications can be submitted online from July 1 through July 31.

Hunters will be selected by a weighted random drawing. Those draw results will be available starting August 15. More information about the managed hunts and applications can be found on the Missouri Department of Conservation website at (mdc.mo.gov/managedhunt).

Information can also be found in the MDC's 2025 Fall Deer and Turkey Hunting Regulations and Information booklet. Those will be available starting early next month at Conservation Department offices and nature centers, from permit venders around the state and on the MDC website.
