WalletHub ranked states from 'worst' to 'best' for police officers

Want to be a police officer? Well some of the best and worst states to be one are right here in our listening area. According to the financial website WalletHub, Iowa ranked 20th and Missouri ranked 23rd on their ranking. As for Nebraska and Kansas, Nebraska ranked 32nd and Kansas ranked 41st on the list.

WalletHub looked at metrics such as, police officers per capita, median income, and median income growth for law enforcement officers. The best state to be a police officer is California, and the worst state for police officers is Alaska.
