The Summer Reading Program at the Maryville Public Library wants to get you hooked on a good book

Maryville Public Library

Its time to get hooked on a good book.
The Summer Reading Program at the Maryville Public Library begins Sunday, June 1st, and you can register starting this Saturday. Library Director Stephanie Patterson says summer marks the busy time for the library, with almost one hundred adults participating in the summer program, and hundreds of local kids.

Kids who fulfill that challenge receive prizes donated by the Lion's Club. Adults are also eligible for prize drawings. Those who read four books can receive a coupon to a local restaurant, or a similar memento, for their efforts.

Both kids and adults can choose their books for the challenge, anything from graphic novels to audio books. What proves most popular?
