Missouri man suffered serious injuries in accident early Sunday morning

A Stewartsville, Missouri man suffered serious injuries in a one vehicle accident early Sunday morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the 26 year old man was driving a Chevrolet Malibu heading east on Missouri -P at Southwest Thronton Road, two miles west of Clarksdale. The vehicle travelled off the north side of the roadway, and travelled through a fence before striking a tree. The injured driver, who was wearing a seatbelt was taken to Mosaic Life Care of St. Joseph by Dekalb County EMS.
