Maryville City Council Preview

The Maryville City Council meets tonight with two public hearings are scheduled: one to discuss zoning amendments related to manufactured homes, and another concerning regulations for drive-thru liquor and marijuana establishments.

During the meeting, the council will consider requests for the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics and approval for the Nodaway County Fair & Parade. They will also review appointments to the Maryville Parks and Recreation Board, Housing Authority, and the Board of Zoning Adjustment.

In new business, the council will discuss ordinances for purchasing a new Homa Pump for the Southwest Lift Station, a preventative maintenance contract for city lift stations, and contracts for the 2025 Asphalt Mill & Overlay Project. Zoning code amendments for drive-thru establishments and manufactured homes will also be addressed.

Tonight's meeting gets underway at 5:30 in the Maryville Public Safety Meeting Room at 101 Vine Street.
