Leadership Northwest Music Jam at Black Silo Winery

Trenton is gearing up for the return of the Leadership Northwest Music Jam, now in its fifth year and set for Saturday, August 30th at Black Silo Winery during Trenton’s Alumni Weekend.

According to a release from Leadership Northwest Missouri, headlining this year’s event is country music artist Ryan Griffin, known for co-writing Kelsea Ballerini’s hit “Dibs” and touring with stars like Lady A and Old Dominion. Griffin last performed at the Music Jam in 2022. His recent single “Skin Deep” is featured as the title track in the upcoming film No Address.

This year’s lineup will also reunite local favorites from past events—Charlie Bacon, Salem Croy, Sam Gibson, Makayla Mejia, and Travis Mullenix—sharing the stage together for the first time.

Music Jam Coordinator, Shane Lynch says the event was designed to be something special for its fifth anniversary, calling it a celebration of both talent and community spirit.

The Music Jam is more than just a concert. It’s also a fundraiser for Leadership Northwest Missouri, supporting leadership development and education in the region. Proceeds help fund two $1,000 scholarships for high school seniors—one from Grundy County and one from elsewhere in the 19-county Northwest Missouri area. Scholarship recipients will be announced soon.

Tickets are available now on Eventbrite, with all proceeds going toward leadership programs and scholarships across the region.
