National Library Week celebrated in St. Joseph

The St. Joseph Public Library is celebrating National Library Week beginning today. . This year's theme is "Drawn to the Library" with the St. Joseph Library system holding special events throughout the week. Director of the St. Joseph Public Library, Mary Beth Revels, says while libraries will always be associated with books, there are many ways people in the community can take advantage of resources library's offer.

"We do streaming books, streaming music, streaming movies. We're also a gathering place, we have meeting rooms at three of our four branches and people often come to our library for meetings. We're also a technology center, people can come in and use the computers, our wifi. Some people have computers at home but they have no printer, so they rely on us if they n eed to print something.", says Revels.
