A prescribed burn workshop will be held tomorrow from 1 to 4 p.m. at Fountain Grove Conservation Area in Meadville, Missouri.
The Missouri Department of Conservation is inviting landowners to learn how to safely use fire to manage native plants and control invasive growth.
To attend, you must register online and complete a $25 mandatory online course before the event. Bring your certificate of completion with you.
If the weather cooperates, a live burn demonstration will take place. Dress appropriately: long sleeves, pants made of natural fibers, leather gloves, and closed-toe boots.
