Bridge replacement projects in Worth and Gentry County

The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Capital Paving & Construction, LLC to replace the decks of three bridges in northwest Missouri. Two of these bridges are located in Worth County, while one is situated in Gentry County.

The project begins with the East Fork Grand River Bridge, located on Worth County Route M. Construction is set to begin Monday, April 21, and motorists should expect Route M to be closed at the bridge site. The closure will require drivers to find alternate routes, as the East Fork Grand River Bridge is expected to remain closed until the end of July.

Following the East Fork Grand River Bridge work, crews will turn their attention to the Middle Creek Fork Grand Bridge on Worth County Route 169, followed by the Zounds Creek Bridge on Gentry County Route B.

MoDOT officials say all work is slated for completion by October.
