Annual 'Parties on the Parkway' in St. Joseph has plans being finalized

Plans have been finalized for the annual 'Parties on the Parkway' Concert Series in St. Joesph.

The Director of Communications & Marketing with the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, Kristi Bailey say's she is excited to add classical music to their line-up for the first time.


"This year the St. Joseph Symphony is going to be performing. We have never had anyone perform classical type music at 'Parties on the Parkway'. They'll do some other fun songs as well, but that will definitely be something new this year.", says Bailey. 

Bailey says the "Parties in the Parkway" summer series has something for the whole family.

"Just a great chance to come out with the family or your friends. There is always a balloon artist for the kids and food and drinks available. Usually we have some really good food vendors come out, so it's jsut a great thing to do after work on a Thursday night.", says Bailey. 

Other musicians include the Jason & Brandon Duo, Soca Jukebox, the Dirty Bourbon Band, and the 80's cover band Fast Times.

The events are scheduled for every second Thursday of the Month beginning May 8th at 5pm with the Dirty Bourbon Band.
