The Maryville City Council this week approved the appointment of several residents to the recently re-established Airport Advisory Board. Maryville Interim City Manager Ryan Heiland says the Council named five people to the board that will meet quarterly.
"These five members are chosen to represent different stakeholder interests. Those include industry, tourism, business, general aviation, citizens at large, and education.", says Heiland.
Highland anticipates the new Maryville Airport Advisory Board to hold the first quarterly meeting later this spring.
