MARYVILLE, Mo. - Three people are in custody following a narcotics investigation in Nodaway County.
The Nodaway County Sheriff's Office, working with the Buchanan County Drug Strike Force and Maryville Police Department, made the arrests on February 25.
The suspects face multiple drug-related charges, including distribution and possession of controlled substances. One individual is charged with distributing drugs in a protected location.
The Sheriff praised the efforts of his deputies and partnering agencies, emphasizing the importance of keeping drugs away from the community—especially its most vulnerable members.
He also reaffirmed his commitment to taking a proactive stance against drug activity in Nodaway County. The suspects are being held at the Nodaway County Jail as the investigation continues.
