Former Bearcat golfer Gia Zupancic is the new associate athletic director for academics and compliance at Northwest Missouri State.
Former Northwest Missouri State golfer Gia Zupancic has accepted a full-time role within the Northwest Missouri State athletic department.
Bearcat AD Andy Peterson announced the hiring of Zupancic as the department's new associate athletic director for academics and compliance on Monday.
Zupancic golfed at Northwest from 2014 through 2018, and received her master's from the university in 2020. The Pueblo, Colorado native carded the golf program's lowest single round shooting a 69 at the MIAA Fall Preview in 2017, a mark that stood until Paige Hoffman fired a 68 last year.
Zupancic fills the role left open when Lori Hopkins took a new position at the University of Central Missouri.
