NEBRASKA CIT, Neb. - The Morton-James Public Library in Nebraska City is ready to take you back in time.

Speaker Bill Hayes will be presenting "George Shannon: Youngest Member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition" on February 1 at 7 p.m.

During this engaging presentation, Hayes takes on the persona of George Shannon, sharing the incredible journey of the Lewis and Clark Expedition to the Pacific Ocean.

Dressed in full costume, he recounts Shannon's experiences and sheds light on the adventures and misadventures of the expedition party.

Following the historical narrative, Hayes steps out of character to provide the audience with "the rest of the story" about Shannon. For more information, visit morton-jamespubliclibrary.com.
