Multiple drug trafficking charges filed in Nodaway County

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Sheriff's Office announced charges against five individuals for controlled substance offenses.

The charges resulted from an investigation into a violent assault complaint in the Arkoe area on January 7. During the course of their inquiry, deputies conducted a related vehicle stop, leading to a search warrant for the residence.

Subsequent to the search, evidence was seized, and five individuals were taken into custody for the suspected trafficking of drugs.

Charges include trafficking drugs, delivery of a controlled substance, and possession of a controlled substance. The individuals, aged 23, 29, 30, 35, and 39, face various charges, including unlawful use of a weapon.
