MSHP: Teen seriously injured in two-vehicle wreck

CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a teenager was seriously injured in a head-on collision in Livingston County.

The Patrol says the 16-year-old was driving a 2006 Ford F-150 on U.S. Highway 65, eight miles south of Chillicothe. At 6:30 p.m. Monday, the Patrol says the Ford traveled into oncoming traffic, striking a 2017 Ram 3500.

The teen, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Carroll County Memorial Hospital by a private vehicle, with serious injuries. The driver of the Ram suffered no injuries.
