Henderson man arrested in Red Oak after altercation

RED OAK, Iowa - A 39-year-old Iowa man is facing charges after an altercation. Red Oak Police say Adam Chandler Orr of Henderson was arrested around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 400 block of 1st Avenue in Red Oak.

He was for alleged domestic abuse assault--strangulation causing bodily injury, which is considered a class D felony. 

Orr was taken to the Montgomery County Jail, where he's held without bond pending an appearance before the county magistrate. No other details have been released.
