HIAWATHA, Kan. - A St. Joseph teen is under arrest in Kansas. Fazzion Rush-Pruitt, 18, was arrested this past Sunday after 9:30 p.m. by Brown County law enforcement.

Authorities say they received a 911 call about a reckless driver on U.S. Highway 36, near Racoon Road. Deputies located the vehicle described in the call in Hiawatha.

A Brown County deputy immediately observed a defective brake light on the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. During the stop, the deputy noticed an odor of burnt marijauan coming from inside the vehicle.

Rush-Pruitt was arrested with deputies requesting charges of operating a motor vehicle without a license, possession of marijauan and possession of drug paraphernalia.
