CLARINDA, Iowa - One of the area highlights of summertime is returning this June. The Glenn Miller Festival in Clarinda will be June 8-11.
The festival will feature the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Tom Daugherty Orchestra, ragtime piano player Adam Sawnson, and 19 other bands and orchestras.
Food and other events will take place during the four-day festival, along with the doors opening at the Glenn Miller Birthplace Museum every day at 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The majority of concerts and programs will take place at the Clarinda High School. For full details about the festival, visit glennmiller.org.
