ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The St. Joseph Public library has announced new cooking programs available to the public, thanks to their new kitchen a la cart.
The cart is outfitted with the tools needed to demonstrate, and guest presenters will be offering classes as well for cuisine from other countries.
Jen Widlhagen, the branch manager of the downtown library, says that they are hoping these lessons empower patrons by teaching them the basics. And believes lessons can help make getting started less intimidating.
