MU Extension Office hosting ag lender seminars

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The University of Missouri Extension will be hosting eight ag lender seminars across the state of Missouri, including one in the KXCV/KRNW listening area.

"Making Informed Lending Decisions: What Ag Lenders Need to Know for 2023" will take place on Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the Mozingo Lake Recreation Park Event Center in Maryville.

Participants will hear from different speakers from a range of topics that can affect farm clients’ success.

Ben Brown, service and senior research associate for food and ag policy research, also says that lenders can use information from the seminars when evaluating loan applications and in conversations with their clientele.
