JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - It was another good year for firearm hunters in Missouri.
Preliminary data from the Missouri Department of Conservation shows that deer hunters in Missouri nabbed 197,724 deer during the November portion of firearms deer season, which happened Nov. 12-22.
Of the 197,724 deer harvested, 102,633 were antlered bucks, 16,929 were button bucks, and 78,162 were does.
Last year hunters checked 188,928 deer during the November portion of firearms deer season. For more information about past hunting seasons, other deer hunting and other hunting seasons, visit mdc.mo.gov.
