MDA offering grant money to 4-H clubs and FFAs

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - A grant program will be helping out area Missouri 4-H clubs and FFA chapters with their projects.

The Building our American Communities Grant Program will offer a dozen $500 4-H BOAC grants and a dozen $500 FFA BOAC grants, which comes out to two per each of the six districts.

The grants are for projects that benefit agriculture or promote community development. The state Department of Agriculture will be accepting applications through Dec. 1. Winners will be notified in early January.
