WILCOX, Mo. - An area man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Nodaway County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Jesse Christian of Burlington Junction, 33, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado on U.S. Highway 71 in Wilcox Monday night.
At 8 p.m., the Chevy crossed the center of the road colliding with a 2013 Dodge Durango, driven by Dillon Mendez of Maryville, 22.
Christian was pronounced dead at the scene an hour later while Mendez was taken to Mosaic in St. Joseph with serious injuries. Christian was not wearing a seat belt.
