JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Conservation has a reminder for deer hunters.
The MDC is again offering free voluntary sampling and testing of harvested deer for chronic wasting disease during the entire deer season at select locations in the region.
The locations for voluntary sampling in our listening area are the MDC Northwest Regional Office in St. Joseph, the MDC Chillicothe office, Sunrise Meats and Top Pin Taxidermy in Princeton, and Muddy Creek Taxidermy in Mercer.
The location for freezer drop-off in our listening area are at the MDC Chillicothe Office. For more information, visit mdc.mo.gov/cwd.
