CHILLICOTHE, Mo. - Chillicothe residents are being encourage to put their karaoke skills to the test.
The Chillicothe Area Arts Council is hosting a Karaoke Contest this evening from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and continuing every Monday evening until August 22nd.
Administrator for the council Mary Lou VanDenter says there will be cash prizes for the first, second, and third place winners of the contest, with the top ten winners getting the chance to appear on stage at Chautaqua in the Park on Sunday, Sept. 11.
